Name your zodiac sign and what is your thoughts on the results of the 2008 Presidential Election?

I'm a Libra sun and I think this campaign was a big one. The results of the campaign for me, this is what I think, Barrack Obama won and he now has a great responsibility. Name your zodiac sign and what is your thoughts on the results of the 2008 Presidential Election?
I'm overjoyed and ecstatic! I actually cried like a baby when the results were announced because it was an emotional moment for me and my family. This is a historical moment and I feel blessed and fortunate to witness such a thing during my lifetime. I'm filled with optimism and hope for the well being of our country and our international relations and although I didn't vote for McCain I can admire the fact that he lost graciously. His speech made me gain a lot of respect for him. The crowd could have learned a thing or two from him about humility because the booing was tacky :I Overall, I'm very happy and proud to be an American =)

Wow, some of you need to cover up. Your ignorance is showing through. If you're complaining about him being Muslim, which he's not, you're pretty much stereotyping by linking every Muslim to terrorism. I'm ashamed that people like you exist.
I'm a Gemini and I'm glad Obama won...us geminis are all about embracing change. LOL. Name your zodiac sign and what is your thoughts on the results of the 2008 Presidential Election?
it was big, everyone can agree on that, but thats probably it! im still upset, and it doesnt help when some Democrats keep rubbing it in and have no respect for the opposition. i respect Obama as our new president, but some of you have to understand that its going to take some time for us (the repubs) to feel better about it. also, im tired of being labeled a "racist" or a "hater" just because i voted McCain....that simply sickens me, because its unbelievable to me how many people think its all about race! when i voted, race didnt even enter my mind, the issues did!

Sun in Capricorn

and unfortunately, thumbs down wont change my mind or make me regret in any way that im Republican. its very funny that anyone who didnt vote Obama is condemned to many types of nasty judgment. hey, i get it lol. we'll just wait and see. those of us who oppose Obama will have all the right to complain if he screws us over. yes, i am afraid, afraid of more socialism, thats why i didnt vote Obama, im sorry!
i am a taurus and thrilled that obama won!!! Name your zodiac sign and what is your thoughts on the results of the 2008 Presidential Election?
I am so happy that Barack Obama won. I feel like the country has some optimism for the future. We have finally broken that barrier. Obama makes me feel so proud to be an American! :D He is such a transformational leader; a historic person. He is going to make such a difference in people's lives. He has the ability to inspire and touch the hearts of so many Americans and people around the world.
I am so glad that Obama won, we need a change, and this coming from a Taurus who stereotypically hates change.

Edit:Obama isn't Muslim, that's just another excuse to hate on the man, get over it, he won.

Edit:?, if you ever payed attention to anything they said on the news, or the internet ( a reliable source that is ), it will say that he is not Muslim, you don't know what your talking about.

and fyi, not all Muslims are terrorists.
I don't care about politics..

I wanted Obama to win just because I wanted him to prove to them that he is a winner,he doesn't give up and he will make an historical change in US' history! XD

edit - tril - I also have a Leo sun and Mercury..

And I also have an Aquarius rsing, another position in his chart that he has!

I'm more proud of Obama..

Come on..

Leo,Black,president,first..

jaja ;D
A leo here and I have to say i'm proud of both him and mcain.

Obama has both leo sun and mercury just like me :D
I'm A Capricorn and I did not care for either candidate. Although I didn't vote, I was in tears after Obama's speech. I know that our country won't be perfectly back on its feet for a long time or ever, but its good to actually hear someone with an optimistic attitude about the changes in our government.
leo im glad he one
I think this election was great. I think my heart stopped when i learned about Obama winning the presidency, I was in shock. A black president, Can you believe it?! All of the great changes he is going to bring and most importantly trying to put an end on this War. I was also really surprised to see McCain take his loss so well. I have never seen that side of him.

I didnt know whether to cry or smile or scream when Obama was announced the next president of the United States. It has been one of the best feelings I have felt in a very long time. This election was overwhelming and stressful to a high extreme, but boy was it worth it!

God bless!

Obama/Biden 08! Yes we can!
I'm an Aquarius and I don't think Obama won because of his race (it may buy some votes, but there's also racism to consider...), I think he won because of his plans and ideals, and I'm 100% with him, besides, I just found out a while ago he's Leo, which means he is a magnificent leader.
I'm happy that Obama won. I voted for him.

I'm very tired of hearing that he won because he is black. He won BECAUSE our country no longer chooses a president based on race. Every time someone says that he won because he is black, it's the same thing as saying that our country only chooses by color. If anything, this is our turning point to moving forward.
I'm a Cancer and I am displeased. I am a moderate Conservative and do not agree with his far left views. Like the other Republican who answered this question, thumbs down won't change my opinion.
My sign: Gemini/ Cancer cusp.

My thoughts on the results of the Presidential election: THANK GOD.
im a Pieces and I wanted Obama to win and he won!!!!! we pieces always get stuck between the tides that are pushing and pulling but Obama was defentily a clear choice to me and he also had 70% of the latino vote which is more this year because many latinos went to vote for this guy as well as the middle class people who are suffering we need a drastic change and he was it!!!
cancer here

this elections definitely wasn't about race or even ethnic backgrounds, or even economics lets go back to roots and basic of human needs. what can we do to lift everyone up is what obama is about. Everyone around the world wake up wanting the same thing everyday just living different lives. So when u hear this kind of thinking from someone in "power" you go wow thats what u need someone who gets the big picture. economics of the country, all that stuff matters noone said it didn't we do need money to survive but we cannot forget our values our morals those are the things that get us ahead really. Obama is not appealing to ur pockets he is appealing to a lifestyle its like loosing weight u have to eat healthy to live longer you'll get further with good values and values, working together as one so forth. ... who can disagree isn't that what we all dream of a world of total bliss. people coming together united working towards a common goal. who else was saying these things lately? i haven't heard such a speech in a while tell u the truth. we dont have to wait for martin luther king or lincoln or any of those people to rise from the grave to call for these things we are the changes we want to see . well he's saying its possible lets start lets do it and i say yes we can!
im not from the US im from the UK, everyone here and i seriously mean everyone loves obama. . . everyone talks about it cos it does affect us aswell. john mcain and especially sarah palin were not that popular here as much as obama, these are just our opinions. but anyways i think they both did a very good job and mcain when he gave his speech was very gracious and modest, just like a true virgo lol both were great but the majority thought obama would do a better job. it was 4am here in the UK when they announced who won, and i stayed up all night and watched it all lol.

UK loves obama!!! :D trust me

people here were kinda scared of palin lol
I'm a Cancer and I voted this year for the first time.

Anyway I am happy that Obama won, I felt a big collective sigh of relief and happiness in the air when they announced he won.

I agree he has a great responsibility he has the nations hopes and dreams on his shoulders. I just hope he can deliver.
I am a Taurus. I feel like Obama only won because of his race not because of what he can do for our country. and that is wrong.
Lil ***** dat trying 2 say he aint Muslim he is. That girl is right. When the terrorists take over don't go crying.
I am deffinitely not happy he won, this country is really going to go down hill now.
