Is it true that Capricorns face the longest period of struggle compared to the rest of the zodiac?

I've heard this said before. By the way, I am a:

Sun: Pisces

Moon: Capricorn

Ascendant: Aquarius

So how does this saying and any other Capricorn or Aquarius attributes affect the direction of my life?Is it true that Capricorns face the longest period of struggle compared to the rest of the zodiac?
It seems to be true...altho' getting a Cap (esp the male) to admit it is hard. It seems they never want to show any weakness by telling anyone how hard a life they've lead. Almost from the beginning of their lives, some obstacle or another is thrown in their paths. I believe Capricorn Isaac Newton almost died immediately after he was born. But he made it :)

Here's what I found online about the hardships that Capricorns go though:

UNDERSTANDING CAPRICORN

If a Capricorn lives past the fifth year of life, he or she is likely to live longer than most other signs. In the early years there can be reserve and fragility, but ruled by tough, cold Saturn, Capricorns learn to be state-of-the-art survivors. Most Capricorns 'begin' at fifty.

Capricorn kids seem like small adults almost from birth. They have a no-nonsense way about them, and a somewhat disapproving demeanor that prompts others to indulge their needs. All of this changes abruptly when they enter school. Something about the Capricorn circumstances, or physical size, or manner, or something may prompt class mates to taunt or bully them. Most children face this but such abuses can throw Capricorns into a psychological pit.

This forces them to develop their inherent humor, toughness, and intelligence. Ambition becomes a defiant need. Success is the survivor's revenge and at some point Capricorn 'must' succeed. The world is the better for it, because as Capricorns claw and climb out of their interior pit, they build mental and physical muscle. They focus and concentrate on the toe holds, crevices, and loose spots in the pit. They learn to be street smart and resolute.

Later in life when Capricorns finally climb out of their pits, they realize with shock that their climb has only just begun, because they are surrounded by mountains that must be climbed in order to achieve safety, security and dominance. Enemies and competitors dog their steps.

But they have learned not to fear. The pit forced them to develop hard bodies and mental muscle. They know how to climb, claw, scale, and outlast anyone.

An astrologer once wrote:'Leos may be the presidents of the zodiac, and Cancerians, the Vice Presidents-- but it is the Capricorns they go to-in order to receive their pay'.

Capricorns are authority figures and in their later years, they deserve to be. Their days in the pit taught them : As God is my witness, I will learn, study, apprentice, work ceaselessly, outlast anyone, to become an authority in my field. I'll show them I mean business. I will organize, create, administer, or do something so fine, so real, so durable, so useful and of such quality that the world will be at my feet for it'.

When Capricorns arrive at the mountaintop, they contribute something lasting, practical, and powerful, and they usually do it with integrity, dignity and resolve.
Not really, although Capricorns are made to overcome obstacles.

I think they just struggle a lot more during their earlier years, and you know, those years always are the hardest and together with struggle it makes you think that it's a long period because of the difficulty.

But anyway, starting up something always is the hardest and most important part as it'll affect the future. So Capricorns are faced with the struggles early on their lives so they can relax and enjoy the good years.Of course not all Capricorns do so other signs can achieve this as well.It has to do with how much effort you put at what you're doing and how much you are caring for YOUR future, but not to the point where you are living in the future and ignore the present.

There should always exist a healthy balance. Is it true that Capricorns face the longest period of struggle compared to the rest of the zodiac?
yes in a way because we are the most hard working and we dont stop until we accomplish our goals..we are also ambitious and determined and we don't rush into things
That is a traditional delineation of the Capricorn sun sign. The theory is that Capricorn is sent through a toughening stage in early life to prepare it for the arduous tasks ahead. Capricorn is expected to shoulder a heavy burden in life: Capricorn is associated with responsibility for others and stewardship of resources.

I know that in my own life, this has been the case also. My childhood effectively ended at 8 and I acquired the responsibility of taking care of the house and other kids. So, for me, it rings true.
