Was it from Babylonians or Egyptians, or a bit of both? How much has the sky changed since then?Who originally named the zodiac signs and when?
The records have to be decided by those who are experts in ancient studies. I was told by the curator of a large famous museum that the Egyptians were the first to start the zodiac symbols, but the Babylonians because more organized about keeping the information. I don't think anyone has a 100% accurate answer. The sky has change a great deal since those times, because just in the last 2000 years it's become about 24 degrees off.
